This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies that Birthday Freebies uses. It should be read alongside our Privacy policy.

Strictly necessary
- Authentication — set by Supabase (via Lovable) to keep you signed in.
- Session & security — CSRF protection, load balancing and abuse prevention.
These cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off.
Preferences
- UI preferences such as your last-used filter, "swipe vs grid" toggle, and dismissed banners.
Analytics (with consent)
- Where enabled, Google Analytics or a privacy-friendly alternative to understand how the site is used in aggregate. We do not use analytics cookies to identify you personally.
Affiliate & partner cookies
When you click a deal marked "Ad" or "Offer", the merchant or their affiliate network (for example Awin, Impact, Rakuten, CJ, Skimlinks or Amazon Associates) may set their own cookies on your device so any purchase can be attributed back to us. These cookies are controlled by the third-party and are subject to their own privacy policies. If you make a purchase we may receive a small commission — this never changes the price you pay.
3. Third-party services
Cookies and similar identifiers may also be set by:
- Google — sign-in (OAuth), fonts served from Google Fonts, and optional analytics.
- Lovable — the platform hosting the site.
- Supabase — the database and auth provider (used via Lovable).
- Social platforms — if we embed content from Instagram, YouTube or similar, those embeds may set their own cookies.

You can accept, reject or clear cookies at any time using your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop you being able to sign in. You can also opt out of most analytics providers directly (for example, Google's Analytics opt-out).
